Fobe
FlexMade joined Fobe as a development and optimization partner to improve customer journeys, storefront usability, and overall conversion performance across multiple commerce environments. The collaboration focused on refining product discovery, simplifying purchasing flows, and creating a more seamless shopping experience across both platforms.
About client
Fobe operates digital storefronts designed to support online product sales and customer engagement across different shopping environments. As the platforms continued to expand, the company required improvements that would simplify navigation, strengthen customer confidence, and create a more polished and conversion-oriented shopping experience. The client was also looking to improve visibility into customer behaviour and platform performance through stronger tracking and analytics capabilities.
About project
The collaboration covered enhancement and optimisation work across two separate storefronts: Fobe.me and Fobe.sale.
The project evolved into an ongoing optimisation initiative focused on improving storefront interaction, refining customer flows, and stabilising core e-commerce functionality. Key areas included checkout usability, product presentation, filtering behaviour, and navigation consistency.
In parallel, the Shopify-based sales environment underwent interface and UX improvements aimed at creating a more visually cohesive and conversion-focused customer experience across all major touchpoints.
Objectives & Challenges
As the platforms evolved, several friction points began affecting customer interaction and purchase completion rates. Checkout behavior lacked consistency across flows, while important information such as pricing visibility, reference values, and cart-related details was not receiving enough visual emphasis during the buying process.
The browsing experience also required refinement. Search functionality, filtering logic, and collection accessibility made product discovery less intuitive than intended, creating additional friction during navigation.
Beyond UX concerns, the storefronts needed stronger trust-building elements, clearer guidance throughout customer journeys, and more dependable analytics tracking to support performance evaluation and future optimization decisions.
Additionally, the Shopify storefront environment required redesign and UX improvements to establish a more unified visual identity and create smoother interaction patterns across all shopping-related experiences.
Approach & Methodology
FlexMade handled the project through a continuous delivery and optimization workflow rather than a single redesign cycle. Improvements were introduced incrementally, allowing the platforms to evolve steadily while maintaining operational stability and uninterrupted storefront performance.
The process included active project coordination, ongoing feedback collection, staged implementation, and iterative refinement of both technical functionality and customer-facing experiences. This approach enabled faster adaptation to new requirements while supporting long-term scalability and usability improvements.
Navigation & Product Discovery
Store structure and collection access were reorganized to simplify browsing behavior and improve customer access to products and key storefront sections. Search and filtering functionality were also refined to support faster and more accurate product discovery.
Product Presentation
Product detail pages were updated to communicate pricing, product condition, and reference values more clearly. Additional informational components were introduced through modal-based interactions to improve transparency without overwhelming the interface.
Cart & Checkout Experience
Checkout flows and cart interactions were refined to reduce friction throughout the purchasing process. Key purchase information received stronger visual prioritization to improve usability and customer confidence during checkout.
Wishlist Functionality
Existing wishlist functionality was restored and stabilized to improve customer interaction with saved products and support returning user engagement.
Header & Navigation Behavior
Header responsiveness and storefront navigation behavior were optimized across devices to create a more predictable and consistent browsing experience.
Shopify Storefront Optimization
The Shopify-based sales environment received additional UX and interface improvements focused on cleaner presentation, conversion optimization, and stronger visual consistency.
Tracking & Performance Insights
Analytics and tracking infrastructure were improved to provide more reliable customer behavior data and stronger visibility into conversion performance across storefront interactions.

The Solution
FlexMade established an ongoing optimization process combining UX refinement, technical stabilization, and storefront improvements across both platforms. Instead of relying on isolated redesign efforts, the project evolved through continuous iteration focused on real customer behavior and operational priorities.
Navigation became easier to follow, pricing and product information gained stronger visibility, and checkout interactions were streamlined to create a smoother purchase journey. At the same time, tracking improvements and storefront refinements strengthened the technical foundation supporting future growth and optimization initiatives.
The Result
The updated platforms now provide a more structured and conversion-oriented shopping experience across both storefronts. Customers can navigate products more efficiently, understand pricing and product details more clearly, and complete purchases with fewer interaction barriers.
The collaboration also improved storefront stability, restored important customer-facing functionality, and provided the client with stronger analytics visibility to support future business and optimization decisions.
